Hey out there,

Apparently disney has started working on a remake of the old tv serialized series the Lone Ranger.  I don't know if this will be a tv miniseries event or if it will be a full length film; but I do know that Johnny Depp has been cast as the title hero's sidekick Tonto.  Keep checking back for updates.

UPDATE: it will be a full length motion picture.

Apparently the new adaptation of sir Arthur Conan Doyle's detective Sherlock Holmes has begun filming.  Robert Downey Jr. plays the detective with Jude Law playing his sidekick Dr. John Watson in an adventure where the hero must stop a plot to destroy England.  It also stars Rachel McAdams and is directed by guy Ritchie, yes he's Madonna's husband.  Look for a 2010 release.
